File Formats

Fort Hill offers you several ways to give us your files. We use all IBM compatible computers, but we can accept files created on a Macintosh. We have access to all of the latest technology for transfering information and will always assist you in any way we can. Please refer to the following when sending us a file.

Usable formats in order of preference:

.cdl (SignLab)
.ai or .eps (Adobe Illustrator)
.cdr (Corel Draw)
.plt
.dxf
.bmp
.jpg

Floppy Disc / Zip Disk

  • Files may be scaled down in size to fit on the disc.
  • Export the file to an IBM formatted disc using one of the formats listed above.
  • Please include hard copy with the disc.
  • Please make a note of the actual size of the drawing.
  • All files need to be saved in IBM format.

E-Mail

  • Convert any text to graphics (curves)
  • Files may be scaled down in size to make files transfer faster.
  • Save the file using one of the formats listed above.
  • Include an attachment to your E-mail message that includes the file.
  • Please make a note of the actual size of the drawing in the message.
  • Please also include your name, company, phone and fax number in the message.
  • All files need to be saved in IBM format and sent from an IBM compatible computer.
