  Mounting

When it comes to the installation of our products we think of everything. This flexible system provides a means to install any of our fine products. Our patterns are the most accurate and easy to use in the sign industry.

Patterns

  • Fort Hill supplies a computer generated paper pattern with every job for pin or stud mounting.
  • The patterns insure perfect positioning of letters, and because each like letter has the same hole pattern, you won't have to pre-sort your letters.
  • Each is supplied with a leveling line and a centering line.
  • Patterns are placed on the wall accurately and quickly, this time saving advantage saves you money.
  • Fort Hill provides laser cut stencil installation patterns from paper, pressboard or polystyrene.
  • Combining full coverage transfer adhesive with a laser cut pattern makes your installation as easy as peeling and sticking the letters in place

Pin mounting

  • The pin mounting system is a recent advance made by Fort Hill, which will cut your stud installation time by 40% and guarantees perfect results.
  • Mounting pins are zinc plated or stainless steel spring pins which are inserted in pre-drilled holes in the backs of the letters.
  • We recommend using mounting pins or studs for installing heavier letters.
  • A small plastic spacer can be used to allow the letter or logo to stand off the wall.
  • All jobs using pins are supplied with a mounting pattern for easy installation.

Stud mounting

  • Studs are short threaded rods that are screwed into threaded holes in the back of the letters.
  • We recommend using mounting pins or studs for installing heavier letters.
  • A small plastic spacer can be used to allow the letter or logo to stand off the wall.
  • All jobs using studs are supplied with a mounting pattern for easy installation.
